Today I got a chance to get into the city and do a little bit of shooting. Last night I spent the evening hanging out with +Joe McNally and Cali doing some scouting and having dinner. It’s always a great time to catch up with Joe and get to some shooting.
I wandered around the city looking for things to shoot (ive been dying to see if I can get some cool shots of the Chrysler Building.. some day), and eventually ended up at a B&H event they were having in the city. Co headlined with the Maine Media workshops, its was great to run into so many people that would be attending and presenting here at Photo Plus. Between shooting the breeze with Syl Arena, +Vincent Laforet +Andrey Tochilin +Oleg Gutsol +Evgeny Tchebotarev and+Jennifer Tse from 500px, there were many laughs.
On my way home, I figured I would stop by Times Square and do my Tip of the HDR Hat to +Trey Ratcliff . You see, he’s got an AWESOME tutorial on processing images (http://www.stuckincustoms.com/hdr-tutorial/ ) and I think he’s solely responsible for many #HDR#Photographer folks who come by NYC to try their hands at Times Square – the inspiration for the tutorial. I figured I’d give it a crack based on my use of HDR and see how I did. Was happy with how it came out.
Tomorrow, the full day at Photo Plus. I’m excited! If you’re in the area, please feel free to stop me and say hello!
