Getting back in after shooting for another day at the workshop with Bill Fortney and friends. This has really been a great group of people to be out shooting with. We spent the morning shooting out in Monument Valley, then headed out to the slot canyons out in Page, AZ for a little bit. From there, we were off to Red Canyon park near Bryce for sunset.
One of the things I’ve enjoyed is the amount of night shooting we’ve done out here. Here we were shooting for stars, but were missing the red rock formations on the base. I got our friend Jim Begley to take the car and drive past us riding the brake lights, and the light was just enough to illuminate the formations and give them a nice glow. 30 second exposure to that shot, and all was well with the world. Having an absolute blast out here!
