I am very grateful for Santa over the last couple of years as he has given me two images that I love greatly (this one: http://bit.ly/tqMlmZ and this one: http://bit.ly/ZlMDg3). Imagine my surprise when I delivered some images to santa and he told me “you see that little girl over there? She is my great granddaughter and I would love it if you would take a picture of her for me.” A couple of snaps later, I had the picture. Excited I went home and started working on it as this past sunday would be the last day when I would be able to give it to him. 3PM.
I raced in my car and got to the locating right at 3PM. Pictures in hand, I wanted to get to Santa his images, as well as a copy of the ones that I have made of Sabine this past year. He was so excited to see them! He stopped for a second and then said “Will you excuse me? I have a dance to get to.”
With that, he took Mrs. Claus by the hand, and in front of the band that was playing in the Oldsmar Flea Market he happily danced a wonderful version of “White Christmas”. I couldn’t help but just sit there and stare to see as happy as they were. Totally brought a tear to my eye. It reminded me so much of the first dance of a wedding couple. They were so overjoyed.
I guess it is a great day for Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Its their last dance. Tomorrow, they will be very busy getting ready for CHristmas.
Not that they seem to mind it – one bit.
